How a switch works

Three steps, one dated plan

Before you give notice, check your contract's notice period and stock-removal fees. Then:

  1. Tell us what's broken

    Your current 3PL, why you're leaving, volumes and contract end date. We check our preferred Newark partner first and send a quote within one business day.

  2. Get a dated move plan

    An inbound plan and a cut-over date away from your peak. If Newark isn't the fit, 2–3 partner warehouses quote the same plan, each only with your yes.

    • A short overlap while stock travels

  3. Go live, then close the old account

    Orders switch on the agreed day. Stock is counted in and reconciled before your old account winds down.

Before you give notice

Can both warehouses run during the move?

Yes. A short overlap is normal: your old 3PL keeps shipping while stock is in transit, then orders switch on the agreed day. Check your contract's notice period and stock-removal fees first.

What if your Newark partner isn't the right fit?

We tell you plainly and look for 2–3 partner warehouses that fit. We check our preferred Newark partner first; any other warehouse only with your yes. Partner warehouses pay us a referral fee when you sign; that is why it's free for you.

When is the best time to switch?

After your peak. Plan before it, and move when volume is lower. For a brand whose peak is the holiday season, that usually means moving between January and March:
