How much does pallet storage cost per month?
At our preferred partner warehouse in Newark: $15 per pallet per month up to 65″ and stackable, $18 up to 72″ and stackable, and $25 over 72″. Handling is $10 a pallet in and $10 a pallet out. Published US averages run about $19–20 a pallet a month before handling.
How do I work out my pallet storage cost?
Pallets × monthly rate × months, plus handling in and out for each pallet. For 20 pallets up to 65″ over 3 months: 20 × $15 × 3 = $900 of storage, plus $400 of handling, $1,300 in all.
What does "stackable" mean?
A pallet that can safely carry another pallet of the same size on top: a flat, even top, cartons strong enough for the weight, and stretch-wrapped. Unsure? Tell us what's in the cartons and we'll check.
What if my pallets can't be stacked?
They need a spot on the floor to themselves, so they're stored at the over-72″ rate, $25 a pallet a month.
Why is it cheaper than most warehouses?
The pallets are floor-stacked rather than racked, and our Newark partner has floor space open now. That's why it's a special offer: it runs while the floor space does.
Is there a minimum?
No minimum number of pallets. Storage is billed monthly per pallet, with no lease.
How many pallets fit in a shipping container?
Usually about 10 standard 40 × 48 in pallets in a 20-foot container and about 20 in a 40-foot container, one layer high. Floor-loaded containers can be unloaded and built onto pallets, quoted per container.
